Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 7 land the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika Kainai and Piikani Nations, the Tsuu T'ina and Îyâxe Nakoda, including the Chiniki Bearspaw and Wesley Nations. Treaty 7 is also home to the Métis Nation (Region 3). We acknowledge all Nations -Indigenous and non - who honour and celebrate this territory.

Elizabeth has used Cree syllabics to decribe each image. Elizabeth is a member of the Mistawasis Nehiyawak in Saskatchewan. Her work is inspired by the artistic traditions and storytelling of the Plains Cree.
