Amy Willier, Yvonne's daughter, was a Mount Royal University alumna. A vivacious, kind, and loving Cree Knowledge Keeper, educator, artist, and entrepreneur, Amy shone her light far in the world. She tagged along wherever Yvonne went, whether to a tradeshow or weekend classes, always learning and growing as an artist. After Amy had her son Colton in 2009, she decided to join Yvonne in the business and Moonstone Creation was launched as a family business.
Amelia “Amy” Nora Willier walked on at the age of 38 in January 2021. She will remain forever in the hearts of her son Colton, nephew AJ, niece Mya, mom Yvonne, family members and friends throughout the world. To the recipient of this Memorial Bursary, we ask that you pursue excellence in your field, and live your life with joy and humour and to share your gift of love with the world.
